COVID-19 Policies

Here at WhirlyBall our largest concern is the safety of staff and customers. As we move through this time, our goal is to provide a clean safe environment for people to come and experience WhirlyBall.  We hope you will read and follow our updated guidelines as we move forward through this together.

Reservations/ Cancellations

Here is an update to how reservations will work:

  • All parties will have 30 minutes between in order to ensure sanitation
  • You must have a reservation in order to be inside the building
  • All groups will have offset times so no 2 groups are paying out at the same time
  • Time will be reserved in hour blocks

Cancellations

  • If you are sick and not able to have your event
    • Old policy
      • Outside 7-days: There is no deposit or any charges
      • Within 7-days: 50% deposit charge that can be applied to the same reservation made for any future date as long as we are called within 2 weeks to book that reservation.
      • Same-day: 100% charge that can not be used for deposit
    • New Policy
      • Outside 7-days: There is no deposit or any charges
      • Within 7-days:  50% deposit charge that can be applied to the same reservation made for any future date as long as we are called within a year to book that reservation.
      • Same-day: Same policy as within 7-days

Cleaning

To ensure we provide as clean an environment as possible, these are the steps we are taking.

  • All Arcade games will be off and closed
  • Car seats and handles will be disinfected between groups
  • Staff will have their temperature checked before interacting with groups
  • Every vest touched in laser tag will be disinfected between use
  • Hand sanitizer is available
  • We have contact less pay with Apple Pay, Google Wallet, and Samsung Pay
  • All high contact areas will be cleaned hourly

What We Ask Of You

Our facilities are committed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by following the recommended guidelines for daily screening for employees and visitors.

 

Before entering our establishment please review the following questions
YES or NO, have you had any of the following:

 

  • A new fever (100.4 F or higher), or sense of having a fever?
  • A new cough that you cannot attribute to another health condition?
  • New shortness of breath that you cannot attribute to another health condition?
  • A new sore throat that you cannot attribute to another health condition?
  • New muscle aches that you cannot attribute to another health condition, or that may have been cause by a specific activity (such as physical exercise)?

 

If you respond YES to any other the screening questions, we request you do not come into our facility and reschedule your event.
Thank you for your cooperation in respecting these extra safety measures.

 

We also request you follow all recommended guidelines provided by the CDC and Texas Health and Human Services.

 

We will be only reservation based during this time and will not accept walk ins.

 

We recommend wearing a mask while in our facility, however it is not a requirement.

 

We will not allow customers in the booth due to not being able to maintain social distancing.
